Stick and Stone is a fun children's picture book, full of great illustrations and rhyming humorous writing.
The story is centered around a stick and a stone and the friendship that is formed when stick ‘sticks up’ for stone in the playground. Stone gets to return the kindness by getting stick out of a ‘sticky’ situation.
My two children, aged 7 and 9 years old, enjoyed this story and concept in the book. It would be well received from children aged as young as 2 - 3 years upwards. They liked the humorous way the story was written and the message of being a good friend, and the bonus was we all had a laugh together while reading it.
